Les Arcs Continues To Celebrate 50th Anniversary
This summer the French Alpine resort of Les Arcscontinues to celebrate its 50thanniversary with yet more activities and events added for families and children, as well as for outdoor enthusiasts and bikers.
50 years ago Les Arcs was created with the aim of offering holidaymakers just as much excitement in the summer as in the winter. When it was built, the resort’s architecture considered how the winter elements could be used or integrated during the summer season, meaning multi activity holidays were offered from when the resort first opened, an innovative move at the time.
Families and childrenhave always been at the heart of summer activities in Les Arcs, and it is now the multi-activity HERO passthat makes a holiday in Les Arcs easy and varied. The HERO pass was brought in three years ago, resulting in a 51% increase in activity over the past three years. For adults and children alike the pass gives access to a multitude of activities – from trail running to circus skills and from mountain biking to archery and mini golf. The HERO pass costs from 37 euro a week or 4.10 euro for one activity.
For 2019, there are even more highlights for children and familiesincluding a new bike pump track and new mountain karts:
NEW! Pump Track: Bourg Saint Maurice

Arc 1950 will offer an original new activity this summer - a relay race round a circuit on environmentally-friendly scooters. Great fun for all the family (from 7 years old). Organised every other week.
