Smith 4D MAG Goggle Wins ISPO Award 2019 For Snowsports Protection
Continuing to evolve snow sports through true innovation, Smith is excited to announce its new 4D MAG™ goggle was recently rewarded the 2019 ISPO Award within the Snowsports segment for protection.
Raising the bar in lens design and construction with the introduction of BirdsEye Vision, a proprietary new lens shape that extends and curves below the sightline, the 4D MAG offers a 25% increase of overall field of view and reduces peripheral distractions through the state of the art lens technology.
4D MAG also features Smith’s updated MAG technology by integrating dual locking mechanisms into the goggle frame outriggers to make a quick and easy lens change system. This design evolution keeps the lens locked in place, and a simple push of one of the levers on either side of the frame releases the lens quickly to adapt to varying light conditions by swapping out the included ChromaPop lenses that amplify detail and enhance natural color.
The ISPO Award has established itself as the seal of quality for the sporting goods industry. Aimed at retailers, journalists and consumers, the ISPO Awards serves as an all-season guide to notable products for the upcoming season. For 2019, the 43 ISPO Award jurors represented 12 countries and were made up of athletes, retailers, journalists, designers and consumers who chose the best sport products among the 456 products submitted this year.
The 4D MAG Goggle will be available at specialty retailers and online at smithoptics.com in Fall 2019.
