Atlantic Construction Group Named General Contractor For Phase II Of Kearsarge Brook Condominiums At Cranmore
Cranmore Mountain has named Atlantic Construction Group, of Groton, Massachusetts, the general contractor for Phase II of their Master Development Plan, Kearsarge Brook Condominiums at Cranmore.
Phase II’s proposed Building Two will be attached to Phase I’s Building One and consist of 19 units. Both buildings are located at the base of Cranmore’s South Slope featuring easy ski-in, ski-out access, and proximity to spring, summer and fall activities and attractions. Residences in Kearsarge Brook Condominiums at Cranmore second building will include two- and three-bedroom units and range from approximately 1,249 to 2,082 square feet for the top floor penthouse unit. The Phase I building has 18 condominiums and was completed in 2017. Condominiums are nearly sold out in Phase I and, since the Phase II units have not yet been registered by the New Hampshire Consumer Protection and Antitrust Bureau of the Attorney General’s Office, Department of Justice, non-binding reservations only are already being taken for Building Two.
Serving the greater New England area, Atlantic Construction Group was founded in 2002 with a deep motivation of building quality construction projects while building lasting relationships. Their diverse portfolio includes residential homes, remodels and additions as well as a multitude of commercial construction projects. Atlantic has more recently accepted projects in the Mount Washington Valley area after building a strong reputation in the Massachusetts construction market.
“We [Atlantic] offer the right balance of knowledge, technical expertise, and commitment for the Kearsarge Brook project,” said Atlantic founder and owner, Todd Niemaszyk. “We have extensive experience in both residential and commercial building industries and have a strong track record of successful construction projects. We look forward to working with many local Mount Washington Valley subcontractors as was the case during Building One of Kearsarge Brook.”
Cranmore President and General Manager Ben Wilcox added, “After a thorough search process we are excited to be working with Atlantic Construction Group. Their vast knowledge and willingness to work with local subcontractors were factors in our decision.”
Construction of Phase II is projected to begin as early as Spring of 2019. Based on this schedule, the 19 new units would be ready for move-in prior to the 2020-21 ski season.
Phase II of Kearsarge Brook Condominiums at Cranmore will be the second of what will eventually be six new base area buildings at the base of Cranmore Mountain. Phases III, IV, V and VI will consist of both residential and day-ski facilities. New buildings will eventually replace all of Cranmore’s existing facilities, with the exception of the Cranmore Ticket Office building and the historic summit Meister Hut. New ski facilities will include a restaurant, cafeteria, seating, locker rooms, restrooms, changing areas, rental shop, ski retail shop, snow sports instruction registration and other skier service areas. Two-, three- and four-bedroom condominium units will be built on the second and third floors of the final four phases.
Cranmore will begin accepting non-binding reservations for Phase II of their Master Development Plan beginning Saturday, January 26th.

In addition to ski area upgrades, Cranmore also recently completed a new year-round outdoor heated pool and hot tub facility near Building One of the Kearsarge Brook Condominiums at Cranmore.
