2019-2020 World Cup Full Of Potential For Bolle's Athlete Pool
As the excitement is building among the athletes involved in the 2019-20 FIS World Cup - kicking off as usual in Sölden from October 26 to 27, 2019 – speculations are well underway: who is going to climb onto the highest step of the podium this season? Will the rising stars reveal themselves?
Ranked 2nd overall in last season’s World Cup, Alexis Pinturault enters the White Circus in Sölden with a desire to conquer and he is aiming high! The French- born competitor, Tessa Worley, will aim at starting the season with a victory in Sölden just like in 2018. The first World Cup Giant Slalom race will see the participation of Bollé’s new ambassador, the rising New Zealand star, Alice Robinson, as well as other top athletes including Stefan Brennsteiner, Dominik Raschner, Rolan Leitinger, Ricarda Haaser, Katharina Truppe, Loic Meillard, Elia Zurbriggen, Stefan Hadalin, Meta Hrovat, Cyprien Sarrazin, Clara Direz, Arttu Niemelä and Samu Torsti. Ending last season’s World Cup with the Crystal Globe in Downhill and second place in the Super G ranking, Nicole Schmidhofer will surely be defending her title fiercely. The Bollé Team is also looking forward to the comeback of Anna Veith in the White Circus on top form.
As the partner of a very high potential pool of athletes, Bollé has made a point of honor to listen carefully to its ambassadors needs and to provide them with the best technologies available to support their efforts in striving for the top rankings. All of them will be equipped with Bollé’s high-performance racing combo: the FIS approved Medalist Carbon Pro helmet and sleek Nevada goggles.
SLEEK DESIGN AND MOST CUTTING-EDGE LENS TECHNOLOGY
Bollé’s latest goggle NEVADA, the choice of the brand’s Athletes Team, is characterized by its mix of style and high-end technology. This cylindrical frameless goggle gives an amazingly wide field of view supported by Bollé’s latest lens innovation: Phantom lens technology. Providing unbeatable clarity thanks to its NXT® construction, Phantom lens photochromic technology also adapts to any light condition at any temperature. Thanks to LTS Technology (Low Temperature Sensitivity), Phantom lenses deliver improved activation, darkening or lightening whether the temperature is -25°C or 5°C. NEVADA is available with Phantom+, a semi-polarized version of Phantom adding protection from distracting glare without masking ice. Last but not least, Bollé’s Flow Tech® venting system and anti-fog treatment eliminate fog ensuring that the wearer enjoys excellent visibility even during the most intense action.
A LIGHT, PERFORMANT AND “RACEPROOF” HELMET
Fully compliant with FIS requirements, the MEDALIST CARBON PRO provides increased protection against impacts thanks to its full carbon fiber construction. Its reduced weight (only 490g), aerodynamic design and customizable fit provide perfect stability and comfort for optimized racing performance.
Confirming its involvement at the highest level, Bollé is once again proud to announce its partnership with the Alpine Ski Pool of Austrian, Finnish, French, Swiss and Slovenian Federations for the upcoming season.
