All employees receive a free season pass, discounts on food, retail and more. With so many departments it takes to run a ski resort, there is bound to be a job for everyone with part-time and full-time opportunities including jobs at a desk, outdoor, in the rental shop, in culinary, and more. All hiring managers will be on site to meet potential employees and discuss their jobs available for this upcoming season. The job fair takes place in Earl’s Lodge and runs from 11:00 am – 2:30 pm. If interested in joining their team and can’t make the job fair, check out the website at www.snowbasin.com/employement.
October has a dining event for adults looking for a night out ‘on the town’ and a dining event for the whole family. On Friday, October 19 Snowbasin’s chefs will be preparing a traditional New England Clambake with some Snowbasin flair. Snowbasin chefs will build a fire pit with local granite rock and Gambel oak wood; then bury all the ingredients in layers of seaweed, wet burlap and sand. Before the meal, all the items will be dug up, placed in piles and then served for your pleasure. While everyone dines there will be live music from the Roadside Ramblers. Reservations are required for the Clam Bake. The Annual Halloween Bash is back at Earl’s Lodge on Saturday, October 27 from 6:00 pm – 9:30 pm. Bring all your ghouls and goblins for a scary good time with live DJ, family games, a costume contest, cash bar, and a festive all-you-can-eat buffet. Reservations are recommended for Halloween. This is a fun family event you won’t want to miss.
