Weston Snowboards Partners With Press Forward

Weston Snowboards, an independent rider-owned, industry-leading snowboard manufacturer, has partnered with Press Forward on media relations, product placement and communication strategy.

“We are thrilled to partner with Press Forward as we look to reach more riders and grow the Weston family,” said Leo Tsuo, Owner of Weston Snowboards. “As we look to put down roots and grow the Weston community beyond our Colorado home, we are thrilled to partner with East-Coast based Press Forward. We know they share our vision and commitment to grassroots community-driven growth.”

Since 2016, Weston has grown by taking their message directly to riders having built a custom a tiny home that can be found outfitting riders with demo decks at trailheads and split-board events across the country. Through direct outreach, Weston has helped riders expand their skill sets and become a part of the growing backcountry community.

Furthermore, Weston has grown by giving back. Last year, the upstart brand raised over $20,000 for the National Forest Foundation and was the only snowboard company to sponsor the American Institute of Avalanche Research and Education.

An industry darling and forward thinking brand, Weston has carved out a progressive niche for backcountry riders looking for substance in their equipment.

“We’ve been laser-focused on growing our brand by building a dedicated community of riders and focusing on a quality product that empowers freedom in the backcountry,“ said Sean Eno, Marketing Director for Weston Snowboards. “We’ve had a long-term relationship with Press Forward Account Manager, Alex Showerman, who has been a part of our grassroots family for a number of seasons and has served an important role in growing the brand on the East Coast. As a dedicated splitboarder and aspiring guide, he instinctively gets what makes the Weston brand unique. We are excited to grow our partnership with Alex and the whole Press Forward team.”

Alex Showerman, added, “I first met Leo and the Weston crew out at the Jackson Hole Shaper’s Summit, and instantly fell in love with their Backwoods snowboard. It’s been my daily driver in the backcountry ever since. As a brand they have a ton of exciting new products and campaigns coming down the pipeline, we are excited to share that story with more riders across the country and globe.”
