Goxtreme Launches Reef Action Cam – Tough, Affordable And Ideal For Bluebird Ski Days

GoXtreme is a German company that specialises in great value action cams, and the Rebel and Reef are its two latest models.

The Rebel is the tougher of the two, but skiers are probably more likely to gravitate towards the pocket friendly Reef.

Available in blue and yellow, the GoXtreme Reef is the first underwater camera from GoXtreme with 2.7" front and 1.8" rear screens making it the perfect companion when it comes to selfies and videos, on the snow or under the water. The Reef allows users to record 720p high definition video and life like photos at up to 20MP while using the 4x zoom and face detection, image stabilisation or multiple 'scene' options to capture those favourite moments.

Though the Reef moniker might suggest that this is a deep sea tool, the GoXtreme Reef is also freeze resistant to -10C and waterproof down to three metres with no case required and produces crystal clear pictures, thanks to its anti-shaking function. The useful attached hand strap will also ensure it doesn’t disappear into the powder, never to be seen again!

The GoXtreme Rebel action cam captures all of life’s adventures in stunning detail. The built-in 2″ (5cm) colour display allows users to perfectly frame, set up and playback recordings while the 140º wide angle view and photo resolution options of up to 16MP ensure everybody is ‘in the picture’.

On board WiFi offers the ultimate in convenience delivering a live view on smartphone using the free companion app whilst also facilitating the transfer of videos and photos from the camera to the smartphone for sharing with family and friends.

In addition to the 30M waterproof protective case, the Rebel comes packed with useful accessories including a shield mount, bike mount, ski helmet mount, switch support, tripod adaptor and USB cable.
