EGE Air Alliance Expands Operations For Eagle County Regional Airport
The EGE Air Alliance and the Eagle County Regional Airport are announcing an increase in operations to/from the Eagle County Regional Airport for the winter 2018-19 ski season.
The Eagle County Regional Airport is serviced by three major airlines: American, Delta and United, and offers non-stop flights to/from 14 markets including Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas/Ft. Worth, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, Newark, New York/Kennedy, New York/LaGuardia, Phoenix, Salt Lake City, San Francisco, and Washington Dulles.
The EGE Air Alliance, made up of both public and private partners including the Eagle County Government, is proud to provide funding to support a vibrant local flight service program. "Our airport is a vital part our diverse local economy, and we are working alongside our partners to ensure EGE remains a leader in the market," said Eagle County Commissioner Kathy Chandler-Henry.
“We are thrilled to expand the non-stop flight options in some of our key markets including New York, San Francisco and Washington D.C.” says Mike Brumbaugh, Chair, EGE Air Alliance.
Below are the details for new and expanded service for winter 2018-19 season.
- Los Angeles – New Saturday non-stop flights on United in addition to daily service on American Airlines
- New York – New Saturday service to/from LaGuardia on American Airlines.
- San Francisco - Service expanded from weekend to daily flights to/from San Francisco on United Airlines.
- Washington D.C. - Service expanded to daily flights in peak season to/from Dulles with continuing Saturday service during off-peak season on United Airlines.
