FIS Announces 2018-19 Alpine World Cup Calendar

At FIS Congress in Greece, the 2018-19 alpine World Cup calendar was confirmed. It includes two stops in the United States—Killington and Beaver Creek—along with classic tour stops in Europe, like Kitzbuehel, Wengen and Cortina d’Ampezzo. Other highlights include a stop for the women in Sochia, Russia—home of the 2014 Winter Olympics—and a return to Bankso, Bulgaria for the men. The season is highlighted by the World Championships in Åre, Sweden and punctuated by World Cup Finals in Soldeu, Andorra.
