SPY Promotes Myrosha Daley
SPY is happy to announce Myrosha (Myro) Daley has been promoted to Sales and Marketing Manager for Canada. Myro, who first joined SPY’s extended family in 2015 as its independent sales rep for British Columbia, has been instrumental in the brand’s phenomenal growth across one of the Great White North’s most critical regions. As SPY’s Sales and Marketing Manager for Canada, Myro will work with SPY’s rep force to develop the tools and programs they need to help Canada’s best retailers continue to see success with SPY moving forward.
Myro has a proven track record of performance in sales, marketing, and social media management, making him a true triple threat in the industry. Prior to joining SPY, Myro was an integral part of the Canadian sales and communications teams for some of the most well-known brands in the snow, surf, and outdoor worlds, and continued to back up his reputation for excellence since joining the SPY team three years ago. Myro’s dedication to SPY’s B.C. retail partners is blatantly apparent through the numerous awards and accolades he’s received over the years, including being named 2017 Rep of the Year for North America, 2015 Rep of the Year for Canada, and numerous other accolades for sales and merchandising contests.
“Myro truly understands what it takes to succeed in our industry and his dedication to the SPY cause is impressive. He has had phenomenal success as a part of the SPY rep force and we’re all excited to watch him continue on in his new role leading our efforts across Canada,” commented Charlie Ninegar, SPY’s Vice President of Revenue, Wholesale.
Known for being a true retailer’s rep, Myro prides himself in knowing his accounts’ business and supporting them with programs they need to ensure that SPY continues its forward progression with them in a very challenging retail landscape. He intends to maintain the hands-on approach he was known for as an independent rep, and use it to develop sales and marketing initiatives to further increase SPY’s profile across Canada.
“A huge part of winning in this industry is understanding your accounts and making sure that they are stocking the right product for their customers, and then supporting them with the tools and training they need to bring it all together. When the retailer wins, we all win. As Sales and Marketing Manager, I’m going to be better able to develop programs to support our Canadian retail partners, and help provide our rep force with the tools and training they need to continue SPY’s resurgence this side of the border,” commented Daley.
When not on the road, Myro can be found in his North Vancouver office.
