Seirus Supports Vail Veteran Program
Seirus Innovation celebrated military service and outdoor recreation earlier this month through their continued partnership with the Vail Veterans Program. Beginning in 2004, the Vail Veterans Program has been transforming the lives of military injured, and their families, through individualized world-class outdoor programs. This year’s program also celebrated Hugh Evans, an original 10th Mountain Division soldier and WWII veteran. The 10th is an elite team of combat soldiers trained for mountain warfare. Original members, like Evans, are an integral part of the modern US ski industry; upon returning from Europe these men published ski magazines, opened schools, and established dozens of ski areas.
Offering transformational curricula to United States Military personnel who have been severely injured while serving the country, the Vail Veterans Program provides all events free of charge, thanks to donors and volunteers.
“This is an immensely powerful program and one Seirus is proud to participate in,” said Seirus Co-Founder and President Mike Carey. “The Vail Veteran’s program has a strong history of leveraging outdoor experiences to build confidence and life-long relationships with our nation’s bravest. We are proud to continue playing our unique role in supporting this initiative.”
