Pats Peak Raises $25,000 For The Childhood Cancer Lifeline Of New Hampshire

The Childhood Cancer Lifeline 2018 event at Pats Peak raised nearly $25,000. All funds raised at this event are used to support local families who have a child battling cancer.

Pats Peak skier/riders and employees donated at cashier locations through the donation request campaign and papered the lodges with well wishes, collectively donating $4,773. Auction and dinner attendees generously bid on many silent and live auction items and purchased raffle tickets to continue to raise money for the Childhood Cancer Lifeline. Pats Peak donated a portion of their March Midweek Online Lift Ticket sales for a total additional donation of $960. Over the past 18 years, fundraising efforts at Pats Peak for the Childhood Cancer Lifeline have raised approximately three hundred and seventy-five thousand dollars.

Sylvia Pelletier, President of the Childhood Cancer Lifeline says: “This year, as we have been every year, we were deeply moved to witness a community of compassionate, generous individuals, all willing to assist families battling childhood cancer. We are so grateful for the continued support of Pats Peak employees, vendors, skiers and riders, community members, businesses, and families. The success of this event is due to this community, and our ability to provide desperately needed assistance to families is possible in large part because of them as well.”

The Childhood Cancer Lifeline has a dedicated group of board members, and volunteers who work very hard to organize and run this event. In addition, they would like to thank community volunteers Rita Blanchard, Karen Kana and Jenn Pineo for their assistance in making this event such a success.
