Isbjorn Of Sweden Bluesign Approved Stroller Bag Wins SOA Kids Award At ISPO 2018

Premium outdoor kidswear brand ISBJÖRN of Sweden has won the Kids Award at the Scandinavian Outdoor Awards (SOA), hosted by the Scandinavian Outdoor Group (SOG) at ISPO 2018 for its Stroller Bag featuring PrimaLoft® Black Insulation Eco.

The SOA jury, made up of prestigious Scandinavian outdoor journalists, bloggers and retailers, chose seven category winners from 20 SOG products matching the following criteria: design, innovation, functionality, quality and sustainability. The ISBJÖRN of Sweden Stroller Bag, which is bluesign® approved, impressed with its innovative versatility features and sustainable manufacturing.

The detachable PrimaLoft® Black Insulation Eco padding and fur trim, and breathable 2-layer outer, make the Stroller Bag ideal for the transition between seasons. The Stroller Bag builds upon ISBJÖRN of Sweden’s strong sustainable credentials with a fluorocarbon-free water repellent finish and PrimaLoft® Black Insulation Eco (made using post-consumer recycled content i.e. plastic bottles) and is an addition to the brand’s already 90% bluesign® approved range.

The SOA jury commented: “This is the best stroller bag for four-season use out there. The waterproof, breathable outer sheds wind and rain and an extra removable inner layer will make the bag fit for colder temperatures. Thanks to the high-quality materials it will last for generations and have a high resale value.”

ISBJÖRN of Sweden was founded in 2005 by Maria Frykman Forsberg and Camilla Schmidt, after they became mothers for the first time and discovered a gap in the market for high quality and comfortable outdoor garments for children.  The brand believes that all children are ‘Multisporters by Nature’ and should be allowed enjoy outdoor activities in all weather conditions, while remaining warm, dry and comfortable.

Production of ISBJÖRN of Sweden garments use recycled materials and the company continuously strives to be as environmentally friendly as possible, while still producing long lasting, tough and premium quality garments which emulate adult styles and materials.

The brand is symbolised by the Polar Bear – the toughest animal on the planet.
