OverBoard Expands Waterproof Luggage Offering

You get out of your rental car and dump your bag on the roadside snow, its already been left on the tarmac in the rain as baggage handlers finished their tea break. It’s been a long journey and you need a change of clothing before you walk to the bar. Unfortunately your beautifully packed chinos need to spend an evening drying out, your shirt is damp and you’re not happy.

OverBoard offers a selection of genuinely waterproof luggage. It all began on the beaches of Thailand and Australia - back in 2006. Having been friends since uni, Dan and Joel had quit the rat race and slipped on flip-flops to spend six months on an epic beach, boat, surf and scuba holiday.

For weeks they fought to keep their technology, valuables and clothes safe from the impact of water and sand. And finally light dawned – what they needed was a totally trustworthy waterproof bag that guarantees peace of mind without slowing you down, more than that this had to be true for thousands of others too.

Back home, even before their tans had faded, they were researching, designing, innovating and producing their first prototypes – the perfect dry bags. And they became the first OverBoard products.
