FIS And Garaventa, Doppelmayr, Garaventa Celebrate Partnership
FIS and Garaventa/Doppelmayr/Garaventa are celebrating a partnership anniversary.
It has been 15 years that FIS and renowned ski lift manufacturer Doppelmayr/Garaventa have teamed up to bring people to the peaks of the skiing and snowboarding world.
An internationally active company which stands for safety and quality, Doppelmayr/Garaventa products are used in many well-known ski resorts to move snow enthusiasts where they want to go. FIS and its 130 member National Ski Associations are interested in supporting developments that take the newest technologies, the needs of high-performance and recreational activities and safety requirements into account.
Besides being called an “official FIS product partner”, Doppelmayr/Garaventa has also advised and helped resorts with their ski lift needs, be it for recreational sports or the hosting of high level FIS competitions. Older lift models have also successfully found new homes in developing countries thanks to the FIS Doppelmayr/Garaventa partnership.
Marking this 15th anniversary of a partnership in the name of winter sports, Doppelmayr/Garaventa and FIS signed a new two year contract taking the cooperation into the future.
