Production record At TechnoAlpin

echnoAlpin has broken its production record in 2018, producing the 1,000th fan gun earlier this year than ever before. Until a few years ago, it was not possible to reach the 1,000 mark until late autumn. All snow guns are manufactured at the headquarters in Bolzano and are sent all over the world from the base there.
This year the 1,000th snow gun rolled off the production line at the end of June and was delivered to the Three Peaks Dolomites ski resort. a sign of the strong growth recorded by TechnoAlpin in recent years and indicative of the long-term partnership between TechnoAlpin and the Three Peaks Dolomites ski resort. “We have long-standing ties with many customers on the domestic market. The Three Peaks Dolomites ski resort has been relying on the expertise of TechnoAlpin for over 20 years,” said a delighted Wolfgang Psenner, sales manager for Italy at TechnoAlpin. “The ongoing investments really boosted sales last winter and once again underline the far-sightedness which makes the Three Peaks Dolomites one of the most successful ski resorts in South Tyrol. The fact that, despite the exceptional winter of 2017/2018, the managers continue to invest in the reliability and quality of the slopes is testimony to the high standards which the ski resort sets itself,” added Wolfgang Psenner. Around 100 snow guns will be installed along the slopes over the next few weeks. A new reservoir with a capacity of 95,000 m³ will also be built. Following this expansion, the snowmaking system in the Three Peaks Dolomites is now the ski resort with the highest output in the north of Italy – measured in terms of slope surface area.
The 1,000th snow gun was a TF10 model – still the most powerful TechnoAlpin snow gun. The great demand underlines the capacity of the machine in terms of both quality and quantity of snow. Its throwing range, combined with the huge quantity of snow, is what makes the machine so popular with TechnoAlpin customers. In terms of snow quality, the TF10 is unbeatable. The high quality of the snow can be guaranteed thanks to the 16 control settings, especially in borderline temperatures, despite changing outdoor conditions.
“Constant progress is vital for us. The broad know-how at TechnoAlpin combined with a constant desire for innovation have inspired us with confidence time and time again in the past. Therefore we are sure that we will be able to offer our visitors even more fun on the slopes next year,” said Mark Winkler, Managing Director at the Three Peaks Dolomites. “The growth which TechnoAlpin has achieved worldwide in recent years is impressive. As the leading innovator in the market, TechnoAlpin is therefore the go-to place for us when it comes to snowmaking technology.”
