More Than 18 Feet Of Snow So Far This Winter At Whitefish. The Most Year-To-Date In a Decade
Whitefish Mountain Resort is the bullseye of the latest storm hitting the northwest adding another foot in 24 hours and nearly three feet in the last week. With more than 18 feet falling since November 1, a base depth of nine feet at the summit, and deeper pockets spread across its 3,000 acres, Whitefish is reporting the best conditions in a decade with more snow in the forecast.
“We are pleased to hear, although not surprised, that the groundhog is calling for more winter. We’ve had excellent snow conditions so far this season and the human forecasters are also calling for more snow this weekend and into the spring,” Whitefish Mountain Resort CEO Dan Graves said. “Between our ideal location in the Northern Rockies and our highly-acclaimed grooming crew, our local passholders and out-of-town guests are very happy. Our employees just might be the most happy as they enjoy the snow while delivering personal, friendly service to our guests.”
