Wins For USA Nordic Skiers Geraghty-Moats And Fletcher

The FIS Nordic Combined Continental Cup in Steamboat Springs, Colorado lands Tara Geraghty-Moats and Taylor Fletcher on top of the podiums. 

Geraghty-Moats competed in the Ladies Gundersen NH HS75/5.0km and Fletcher in the Men's Gundersen NH HS75/10.0 km at Howelsen Hill.

Geraghty-Moats said, "t's a dream come true to race Nordic combined on home soil. I'm happy with how todays competition went. It's was also very special to see Taylor Fletcher win so decisively in his home town. The team wax techs also managed to make our skis so fast the uphills almost felt like downhills."

Fletcher said, "Today was a great day. It was so much fun competing at home for the first time in so long. It brings me back to my childhood memories at the Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club. I had a decent jump and a much better race to bring home the victory. Today was for my parents. My father was with me today all the time. He would of been so proud and that was motivating."
