Wigwam Debuts Fall 18 Socks

Wigwam Mills Inc., the family-owned maker of premium, made-in-the-USA socks since 1905, is pleased to announce the arrival of its Fall 2018 collection of socks including new styles in the Peak 2 Pub, Outdoor, Snow, Kids, and Work categories. The new styles can currently be found online at www.Wigwam.com and at Wigwam retailers across the US and Canada.

“We are especially excited about the new styles in the Peak 2 Pub collection,” says Margaret Newhard, Director of Product at Wigwam. “The designs were inspired by and named after classic trails, rivers and peaks, which resulted in some uniquely Wigwam graphics and colorful patterns. We’ve incorporated our moisture control technologies and offer both man-made and Merino blends in a variety of weights and heights, so hikers can choose their ideal sock to stay dry and comfortable all day long.

”Repreve made out of recycled plastic bottles, also makes a debut for Fall 18 in Wigwam’s snow socks. “In the Moarri Ultralight over the calf sock, Repreve fiber is incorporated into our Ultimax technology.  The Repreve yarn is used in the foot and is hydrophobic compared to the fibers used in the instep and leg, so moisture from the foot is transferred to the leg where it can evaporate more efficiently.
