Grouse Mountain To Launch Scenic Mountain Biking For Summer 2018
With warmer weather just around the corner, Grouse Mountain is excited to announce the launch of Scenic Mountain Biking as the latest addition to the Resort’s summer activities. Operated by the Sea to Sky Adventure Company, guests will be able to experience a taste of one of the North Shore’s most well-known pastimes through guided tours or self-directed trail exploration.
“We are excited for the return of mountain biking to Grouse Mountain in partnership with Sea to Sky Adventure Company,” said Grouse Mountain’s Mountain Operations Director, Grant Wahl. “This new cross-country style experience using pedal-assist bikes will provide a scenic introduction to the sport for guests with little or no previous mountain biking experience.”
Focusing on a cross-country style experience, guests can enjoy a 2-hour guided tour to scenic viewpoints or rent pedal-assist bikes or full suspension pedal bikes to access the two marked trails on their own.
“We’re thrilled to be partnering with Vancouver’s number one tourist attraction for the launch of Scenic Mountain Biking at Grouse Mountain” said Jeff Levine, Sea to Sky Adventure Company’s Chief Adventure Officer. “Our expert guides will be providing a gateway into this exciting sport for those who potentially wouldn’t otherwise have the opportunity to try it.”
Sea to Sky Adventure Company started in 2010 in Squamish, BC. Sea to Sky Adventure offers guides mountain biking, kayak, paddleboard and hiking adventures in Squamish and Crescent Beach, Surrey.
Scenic Mountain Biking is expected to launch in June dependent on weather and conditions.
