What’s New This Season At Kimberley Alpine Resort

The team at Kimberley Alpine Resort takes pride in providing guests with the best vacation and recreational experience possible, continuing with this tradition there are a number of changes and upgrades they’re working on pre- ski season to ensure this one is one of the best yet!  Some of the highlights include;

New Eats & New Brew!

They’re looking forward to debuting a brand-new restaurant in the plaza at the base of the resort (where Montana’s previously was) called Buckhorn & Main Mountain Eatery.  Introduced near the end of last season, Kimberley is proud to now pour its own beer – try the Stemwinder Ale this winter, on tap at The Stemwinder Bar & Grill and at Buckhorn & Main.

Host Mountain to NorAm & Para World Cup Races

Starting in February 2018 and continuing into March they’re excited to be hosting athletes from all over for the Para World Cup, Noram Finals and the Special Olympics events.   Not only will this include racing in multiple categories by these amazing athletes, there will also be various parties, parades and celebrations throughout the event weeks.

Lift Upgrades & New Equipment

The Northstar Express had new drives installed, these control the electric drive motors and the magic carpet has a new “blue dot” belt for better traction.  The mid station snow making pump is getting revitalized for improved snow making, in addition to a new snowgun to their fleet. All three of our groomers are getting complete overhauls and they’ve added a new snowmobile to the team!

Men’s Bumps & Brews All Mountain Ski Camp

Bumps & Brews All Mountain Ski Camps are not just another ski lesson, rather a guided mountain experience with some learning thrown in! The focus at men’s “Bumps & Brews” All Mountain Ski Camps, is personalized skier improvement in all types of fun and challenging terrain on the mountain. You will ski lots of powder, tree runs, natural terrain, deserted groomers, train in brushes & race gates and show you secret stashes you can and can’t imagine! They take full advantage of the best terrain and help you experience and realize a whole new way of skiing the mountain. Bumps and Brews Camps do ski on groomed runs, but not necessarily practicing ski drills or exercises. They’re different, exciting and you’ll love it! It will be the best ski camp experience of your life! Skiing, Fun, Friends and Skill Improvement.
