Here’s a look at the artists playing Stratton Mountain’s first alternative music festival, which follows on the heels of a full summer of live concerts and complements the winter apres and late night schedule at Grizzly’s.
JD McPherson
This rock ‘n roll re-inventor “exudes a new kind of risky energy.” From Oklahoma, now living in Nashville, JD McPherson just released his third LP, Undivided Heart & Soul, “with enough fuzz and fury to make those country ghosts shake.”
Brian Fallon
One of the best songwriters of his generation, Brian Fallon is a real storyteller with roots in punk and indie-rock. His first solo album, Painkillers, pairs upbeat and melodic music with his distinctive voice that teems with grit and gravel.
Banners
Soaring vocals and gripping lyrics are hallmarks of this British musician whose career-propelling “Start a Riot” has over 80million Spotify streams. “Shine a Light” has been getting plenty of WEQX airplay and the songwriter’s single “Firefly” was just released.
