Powdair Wins World Snow Award For Best Start-Up At The Telegraph Ski & Snowboard Show
New airline, powdair, won the award for the ‘Best Start-Up’ business at The Telegraph Ski & Snowboard Show on Thursday October 26, 2017.
The award recognises the airline, which is flying routes directly into the heart of the Swiss Valais region, in a positive step to helping skiers and snowboarders increase visitors to some of the world’s best known ski resorts and making it easier and faster for them to get there.
Also announced at the show is a new partnership with Snow-Camp, the charity dedicated to empowering inner-city young people with snowsports skills and qualifications.
Joined by powdair’s resort partners, the airline’s presence at the show included a dedicated stand along with sponsorship of the powdair Lodge area, where much of the social activity across the four day event took place.
