13th INTERALPIN Golftrophy Held, Looking Forward To The 2025 Anniversary Edition
The last day of August began promising: bright skies, freshly prepared greens and a joyful anticipation of a reunion with colleagues. In short, the Lech golf course in Zug was in perfect condition for a successful game – be it during the tournament or the trial golfing session on offer. Around 60 participants travelled to the sporting event not only from western Austria and South Tyrol, but also from as far away as Poland and Iceland. The game was traditionally played according to the Stableford scoring system over 18 holes. In the end, Harald Strobl and Birgit Strobl-Wolfram were delighted with their gross victories. Florian Moosbrugger, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Lech Bergbahnen AG, won the BERGBAHNEN ‘Nearest to the Pin’ competition.
Annual networking event for industry participants
The industry participants value the side event to INTERALPIN as a sporty and competitive tournament and for professional dialogue in a relaxed atmosphere. ‘The INTERALPIN Golftrophy offers industry partners the opportunity to network away from INTERALPIN, the world's leading trade fair for alpine technologies, which takes place every two years, and to discuss current developments and exchange ideas in a sporty, informal atmosphere,’ reports Christian Mayerhofer, Managing Director of Congress Messe Innsbruck. ‘I would like to thank our supporters and sponsors Doppelmayr as well as Axess, Alps.Sens, Golfclub Lech, Bellutti, TechnoAlpin, Smart Solutions, Belvita, SunKid, Fleischhof Oberland, Tirolerin and Unterberger.’
Conclusion with culinary and musical highlights
Thanks to its perfect organisation, Lech Golf Club ensured a successful premiere of the INTEALPIN Golftrophy at the Arlberg. With culinary delights and live music, the participants rounded off the day late into the evening at Walch's Rote Wand Gourmet Hotel. For project manager Stefan Kleinlercher, the 13th INTERALPIN Golf Trophy was a complete success: ‘The fact that numerous participants from the cable car and tourism industry once again took part in the 13th INTERALPIN Golftrophy shows how firmly anchored the event is in the cable car industry. As a prelude to the anniversary edition of INTERALPIN, the Golftrophy proved to be a very special occasion.’ The 25th INTERALPIN will take place from 6 to 9 May 2025.
